ABOUT US:

tHE REAL STRONG WOMEN OF ALPHA CHI OMEGA

Alpha Chi Omega sorority was established on October 15, 1885, at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. The sisterhood was founded on the the idea of creating a community that embodies the idea of being Real Strong Women - women who are leaders in their campus and local communities, women who are open-minded and unafraid to share their intelligence and ideas, and most importantly, women who support other women.

The Gamma Iota chapter was welcomed to the Panhellenic Community of the University of Florida in 1949, and the chapter women have worked to continue to represent Real Strong Women ever since.
